Eight steps to help you create an empowered life

Are you looking to create a high state of being, where you can enjoy an inner peace and joy in your life that is lasting? These are some of the tools that you can utilize and start doing right now to begin to understand what “Achieve Empowerment Through Serenity” means.

1.    Begin with self-love---The most important step is to develop a conscious and sacred relationship with your body. Talk to it, love and respect it and don’t be afraid to stroke it with compassion.

Every morning before I get out of bed, I stroke, hug and message my

body and send it love. I thank my body for clothing me in a perfect and

healthy way. This is truly powerful and will set the pace for the day. Every

positive feeling is a degree of love—the love that flows from our Creator.

2.    Trusting  that the Universe is on your side, that it truly wants to help you
achieve your heart’s desires. Start to build this trust first in little things by
being your own testimony.   So often in our lives we try to force the river to
flow backwards. It isn’t going to work!   It is time for you to trust and
release the outcome—make your petition(state your intention) and  let go.
Let God, the angels and all those who are supporting your Earthly journey
do their  work for and with you.

3.    Build your self-esteem—self- worth and self-confidence by bringing
awareness to you.  For example, begin to go into self-discovery.  Yes, quiet
the ego mind and spend some time in your sacred place where you can speak
to your Little Child, your Inner Voice within and examine the pain, fear,
anger, loneliness, shame that he/she  has experienced.  Then begin to release
it, heal it, acknowledge and forgive it so that you can begin to grow and
nurture yourself and your Little Child  in a positive, loving  and heart-
     warming way.

You have all that you need within you to make it right.”  You simply
      have to do your work!”

     4.   Positive Attitude—become more flexible which means to be willing to go
with the flow.  Stop wallowing in a victim /martyr mode.  If a negative
thought, idea or feeling surfacesàREMEMBER to say to yourself:  Don’t
even go  there.”  This is a strong and most effective statement to help you
snap out of that state.  Learn to say it often.  It will truly cause you to stop
and remember.  You do not need to be a victim any more…that is not who
you are; do not accept this story.

    5.   Develop the attributes of personal power necessary to sustain your growth
not just today but over time on a steady and continual basis.  When you
make the conscious effort to change, change will come.  I strongly suggest
that you refuse to gossip about others, refrain from making judgments, catch
yourself when you begin to get angry and begin to look at yourself
differently. Start with little things and build on it.

   6.  Develop discipline—block out some time each day just for you—write you
into your appointment book, and don’t break the appointment.   Create a
support system; it is helpful to go on this journey with a friend or partner who
will encourage, you, stroke you, give you a hug when you  most need it or
        help you keep your focus.

   7.  Inner Guidance is imperative ---Spend some quiet time with your Inner
Child, your Soul and get to know you better.  Apologize for the neglect and
abuse that you have caused to yourself and begin to feel a powerful healing
take place. When you understand the value of honoring you, accepting you
        and loving you, magic happens.

    8.  Become a student of meditation—There are many forms of meditation.
Experiment and explore those that suit your life style and abilities and
finally, heal so that you move closer towards  the release of emotional
wounds from the past that no longer serve you.  Now you are ready to fill
your body, mind and spirit with the golden light of the sun as you build your
spiritual path around a sense of higher purpose.

I guarantee that you can accomplish this higher state of being, if you are willing to do your part. It takes effort, discipline and determination but the end result is worth it.
