Rediscovering Beauty in Autumn

As you get older in years, Autumn might bring a sense of sadness.
It may remind you of the delicate cycle of life. You observe the falling leaves and think nostalgically about times long ago - perhaps you are reflecting on your childhood, the choices you have made in the past, and the people you have loved and lost. Funny how nature mirrors our own naked fragility in this world.

Instead of focusing on the falling leaves in a negative way, I want you to think about a quote by French Nobel Prize winning author, Albert Camus. He said, "Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower." Imagine that. What a positive approach to see the world around you. This thoughtful statement begs you to change your perception on life. Its meaning goes way beyond this late season in the year.

When you rediscover beauty in Autumn like Camus did, it will raise your awareness to an elevated state of consciousness. Suddenly, fall colors are more vibrant and more beautiful than you could ever imagine.

Transforming your attitude about how you "see" the world around you, is what will enable you to rediscover joy you may have lost in your life. I know it may be challenging for some of you when life seems to be throwing curve balls your way -- but this is the ideal time to take an alternative approach to the way you view your life. Rather than concentrating on everything that is "going wrong" in your life, I want you to look past any challenges and seek opportunities you may be missing.

With each day of your life, there is hope for you to realize your potentiality. Change your perception and you change your life. It really only takes a little motivation and your willingness to be open to the possibilities in front of you.

Right now, I want you to think about any past attitudes that may have been holding you back. For instance, if you have always wanted to learn a prosperous trade but you believed you could not do it for whatever reason, then isn't it time for you to reconsider your options? What is the real reason you have not pursued your dreams in life? Is it because you fear success? Is it because you fear you are running out of time? Bruce Lee once said, "If you love life, don't waste time - for time is what life is made up of." Are you still holding onto hard feelings from your past? Let that mindset go and get moving.

In life, you do not have the choice to be afraid of success. Either you create success and joy, or you live in a constant state of motionlessness. There is always an opportunity to realize your dreams if you truly seek opportunity. Remember, Autumn is a second spring where every leaf is a flower. Turn the tides of time in your favor - become the flower in your life and begin to realize the beauty in everyday living.
