I believe that we
are all seeking something more in life.
It may be more love, or
friendship or good health—the point is we are seekers of something greater
than we have right now. Let us not forget that we are all on a journey—some of us have been fortunate to have a life of great joy and abundance while others
may be struggling and feeling defeated. That
is why I believe that whenever possible, it would behoove each one of us to
plant a seed of hope and possibilities for others. Give
encouragement and offer words of
wisdom.
Each one of us has the
capacity to help others even while
we are helping ourselves by being thoughtful, showing an example of kindness and being considerate of someone else’s beliefs, philosophy and/or
physical appearance.
I myself have been guilty
of looking at someone and making a judgment only to catch myself and say—Why? Just
because someone else doesn’t have the same physical appearance as me, maybe
their body language turns me off or their lack of manners leaves distaste in my
heart. The fact is I do not know where they are on their journey and I don’t
have a clear picture of what their
experiences have been. We have often
been told not to judge others if we don’t want to be judged. That is great advice!
Maybe it is time to shift attitudes and beliefs and start planting seeds of hope and new
possibilities towards others as well as for ourselves. A sense of warmth and respect goes
a long way even if you do not agree.
Because we are all made in the image of God and have been placed on this
planet to express ourselves in a peaceful
and healthy manner. Seeds are powerful when planted in fertile soil with an open heart and nurturing
hands.
Researchers found seeds
that are over 4,000 years old in various regions of the world and when they
took those seeds and planted them, they sprouted.
Each one of us have seeds
that are planted deep in our cells that are waiting to be dug up, cultivated and nurtured so that we can and will produce a bountiful harvest of new possibilities. The seed is still alive within and all we
need to do is soften up our soil by opening our hearts to feel love, joy and newfound
hope. Time will take care of the
rest.
Isn’t it time to be
recognized for all the great traits that you possess. When you plant
seeds of hope towards others, you are expressing love and a spirit of possibilities. What would this world be
like if we all stop judging others and
start accepting them for who they
are. We can learn to be open to the
beliefs of others and their cultures if we focus on the things that bring us
together instead of the characteristics that divide us. Let down your amour of fear and doubt and
engage in a refreshing conversation with other that reveals another outlook on life that you haven’t yet
explored. You just might learn something new.
It is a distortion to
believe that only your ways are the right ways.
There are many doorways that are available to you to reach your destiny. When you plant
seeds of hope and possibilities,
you are encouraging others to do the
same and just maybe we can, together, unearth a better way, a better product
and a more inclusive attitude that
will allow us together to reap our abundant
flow.
The mercy of God is wide
so why are we trying to have a narrow view of the people and world around
us? Isn’t it time to remove all of our
obstacles and veils and take in the panoramic view of a world made up of a kaleidoscope
of color that when joined together create
a beautiful new world order. What a
refreshing thought!
