In the same way, God is your Life Coach. He wants you on his team because He believes in you à knows your heart, your dreams as
well as your shortcomings and fears.
Yet, God, unlike the earthly Coaches, will not fire you or send you to
another team if you don’t perform correctly. He is your Coach for life! He said, if you continually trust me, have faith in me and believe
in me, I will supply you with all of your needs. “Through me all good things
are possible.” As
your life coach, God asks you to follow His ways, be in gratitude and
appreciate all that you have. God
wants you to believe in yourself and your talents because He believes in all
the abilities that you possess.
We all have made our share of mistakes and had our
problems but that doesn’t mean that we can’t still get back up and try
again. Life is a class room of
sorts, where we come to grow, learn, make mistakes and fall down; yet in all of
our learning lessons, God has given us the strength to get back up, brush
ourselves off and keep going. We
are all called to run our race, learn and grow and then seek the wisdom of the
Lord, who is eager to encourage
and sustain us through all the difficulties that we face.
We
are all seekers of something better.
Make it a practice to seek encouragement and inspiration. The Book of Psalms were written to offer inspiration
to all men. Beauty and strength
can be found in them and I have learned over the years that those words
have brought me great peace. Psalm
27:1-3 says: “ The Lord is my light and my
salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom
shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon
me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.”
Psalm
40:1-3 says: I waited patiently for the LORD; And He inclined to me
and heard my cry. He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the
miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.…”
