Job refused to listen to all the soothsayers who tried to
dictate his future. He didn’t end on a sour or depressing life, he did not get
angry at God and feel defeated, instead, he kept his faith, He believed that a
better tomorrow was in front of him and in his heart he was convinced that no
enemy or difficulty no matter how impossible it seemed could keep him from his
destiny. In Job’s story, Satan had
to ask God’s permission if he could place traps and difficulties in from of
him. That, in itself, should tell us that God allowed those situations to be
placed in front of Job even though He did not cause them and allows each one of
us face difficulties too, in order to teach us lessons and even to change the
course of action.
The message from this Bible story is, don’t let the
negative situations or circumstances get you down and trip you up, instead get
creative, be imaginative and realize that like Job you can and will reach your
best days yet as long as you stay in faith and do whatever is needed to keep
you on the straight course that will lead you towards your greatest good.
When you have a positive attitude, take right action and
make sure that your behavior is up beat as versus filled with anger, resentment
or doubt, you can and will lead a happier and healthier life and
lifestyle. Nothing can create
change faster than an upbeat attitude and forward thinking approach to living
your best life yet.
Your mind-set, your thoughts and feelings will most
definitely alter your outcome.
Become conscious of where you are placing your attention and set a
positive intention to stay focused and upbeat no matter what is happening. “Find
a place inside where there’s joy, and the joy will burn out the pain.”- Joseph Campbell.
