If you will, imagine a small snowball falling from the top of a
mountain, the more energy and speed it picks up on its way down, the larger the
snowball becomes. In essence, this is what you are doing when you begin
to focus on just one negative emotion. It begins to compound.
Before you realize it, you no longer have just one "bad" thing
happening in your life, you suddenly have an avalanche of negative emotions and
events that fall in suit and
overcome you completely leaving you frustrated and even depressed.
Now that you have a clear picture on what just one negative
emotion can do, let's concentrate on what just one positive emotion can do. For just one moment, visualize
a small stream. The stream is flowing gently out to the sea. Once
the stream reaches the sea, there is a vast expanse of ocean that lies in
wait. Imagine that this stream is a reflection of your mind. It is
flowing freely, gently to bigger and better things. This is how
we feed positive feelings. You move along nice and easy, allowing
the flow of your intuitive mind to become a wave -- and not a weight. This is essential in
experiencing the moment and moving forward in life. It is also vital that
we do not weigh ourselves down (like the giant snowball) with negative emotions
so that we can begin attracting positive energy; thus, positive and prosperous
new horizons.
Take control of your emotions! No one person or situation has the power to make
you feel in any particular way. You are the master of your feelings. When you understand that attracting
positivity takes positive feelings, thoughts, and actions you begin to see the dynamic
transformation that is possible for you.
New possibilities await us daily in health, wisdom and wealth.
Allow your life to flow by becoming conscious of where you are placing your
thoughts. Positive energy awaits
you if you are willing to train your mind to focus on the brighter side of life.
“Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones,
you’ll start having positive results.”—Willie Nelson
“You’re going to go through tough times – that’s life. But I say, ‘Nothing happens to you, it
happens for you.’ See the positive
in negative events.” – Joel Osteen
