
If not now then when are you going to re-program your thinking, plant seeds
of healthy and positive thoughts and start to nurture those thoughts into
something that produces a healthy lifestyle? When you are prepared to be proactive in your life, that is
when your life will turn around.
In most cases in life, when our thinking is limited we
actually set ourselves up to perform in a limited capacity. Our thinking and our beliefs have a
direct effect on our health and well-being. The adage –if
we can perceive it (our goals or dreams) we can create it and bring it into our
reality. That is why I
suggest that each one of us consciously and deliberately work on our
mindset. It is a fact of
life that we all have struggles and challenges but it is how we react to those
situations that predicts our outcome.
In their research Psychologists Ulrich Wegner and Stephen
Loughnan explored people’s
thinking processes and how it affects their performance. They discovered that while our physical
abilities and mental activity are limited in many respects, our capacity to
comprehend and understand information in a positive way can be enhanced by our
ability to envision the outcome in a favorable light. In other words, we have the power to exceed our potential by
the way we use our thoughts, ideas and our imagination. Conscious awareness is vital for our
success. If we mope around and act
like zombies, we diminish our thinking skills, if, however, we, encourage our
mind and brain and stimulate it, we are better prepared to ignite and instigate
that part of our mind and body to be more creative, more productive and thus
enable us to be more successful in our endeavors.
In essence, when your thinking is limited, your progress
will be limited. So I am here to
tell you to change your attitude, your behavior and the environment in which
you live, think and act because you are the one who holds the key to your
success.
