Drastic change is occurring in the world daily and
sometimes it leaves us feeling quite challenged, fearful of what tomorrow will
bring and wondering if our lives will ever improve. Fear is a destructive emotion that can
paralyze us if we don’t reel it in and stay focused. Too many people move into negative behavior such
as excessive drinking, gambling, binge eating or harmful
drugs that seem to place a veil over the problems but
never resolve them. We may not verbalize
it but I know a lot of people are trying to figure our how to cope in the face
of chaos.

1. Most people do not get enough exercise. Exercise is the perfect stress reducer and it
helps to put more pep in your step as well as pump up your endorphins to
product feel-good experiences not only to the body, but the mind and your
overall all well-being. Simple
exercises, like walking, can product great benefits.
2.
It is far wiser to grasp the concept that we
cannot control ever situation we encounter.
It is equally important to understand the conditions that occur often
take on a life of their own and will get resolved in their timing. Stop dwelling on fear, frustration and ever the
feeling that it isn’t fair and place your energy on staying calm and keeping
busy so you are not continually working your mind overtime.
3.
Don’t go into hiding. Seek out people, get involved and
share a good laugh or a fun moment with
others. Even
spending time in nature is most healing and nurturing to
the mind/body connection.
4.
Remember to drink a lot of water. It will hydrate you as
well as lubricate your organs,
cells and protect your immune system.
Keep a well-balanced diet and remember to include protein to your daily
regime. Nuts and fruits give an added
bonus and energize you.
5.
If you are feeling particularly challenged
call on a trusted
friend or seek the help of a
professional or religious leader
who can help you begin to have faith and
trust again in
the process of life.
6.
Deep breathing exercises have many wonderful
benefits
that will allow you to relax under stress
as you lower your
muscle tension and calm down your nervous system so that
you are better able to examine the situation you are facing
with a better sense of cool as well as a better sense of
control over your emotions.
7.
When you feel overburdened or out of control,
turn to
God and His Angels and ask for guidance, support,
encouragement and a clear mind to help you
find the right
solution or at least to acquire a clearer
picture of what is
happening.
