Don't let the negative things of life feed your heart.

Positive thinking head  imageNegativity will poison your life!  You need to learn how to protect your heart, the recesses of your inner core, so that you don’t internalize the darkness of daily living.  It is important to stay in peace and be filled with joy.  We all have troubles and turmoil in our lives but the key is not to let those troubles get on the inside of you and start to eat and contaminate your life.

When life hands you difficulties that is the time to be careful and guard yourself.  Don’t let your difficulties overtake you, fill you with worry or doubt or any other negative thoughts. We definitely cannot keep the storms from coming into our lives yet we have the power to stop the emotions of those storms to penetrate our inner thoughts, our mind.  Our inner core, our hearts needs to remain pure and hopeful. When you have a good attitude despite what is going on, you are showing God that you are placing your worries and fear in His hands.  When you place your trust in God, some how, that strong faith brings you a wonderful sense of peace and calm.

When you wallow in self-pity and start dwelling on our hurts and all the negative chatter that you hear, you move into the danger zone where evil and darkness have the ability to pull you in and drag you down. 

The trick of the enemy is that it tries to deceive so you move into his hole but this is the time for you to get strong, guard your heart and resist its pull.

Every day, you need to watch out for what you are allowing into your thoughts because they may lead you in the wrong direction.

 It is far easier to guard your mind if you stay vigilant about where you are placing your thoughts and they be conscious about how you can use your thoughts to improve your life.  Don’t watch movies or follow the troubles that are surfacing in the world—all that will do is drag you down and keep that negative story alive in your mind.  It would serve you so much more if you can simply stay focused on your goals as you learn how to strengthen your internal house.

How you use the power of your mind will help determine your overall wellbeing.  The direction of your thoughts is something you have control over; you can continually think that you have limited abilities and talents or you can seek to thrive knowing that the outside forces have no place in the inner sanctum of your mind.

Stay positive, hopeful, believe that possibilities are coming your way.  If you consciously protect your thoughts and your mind, you will most definitely live a happier and healthier lifestyle.  It is easy to go around worrying all day long when you get a negative health report, or you lose a job or have a relationship dissolve.
All of those worrisome and negative things happen all the time  and are part of our journey but believe it or not, those are simply experiences that you are traveling through at this moment in your life.  This is the time you need to turn your difficulties over to God and ask him to give you the courage, the strength, and all that you need to uplift your mind, your thoughts and lighten your heart and your load.  It is a fact sometimes we face challenges of various degrees.  When you do, that is the time you need to understand, that quite possibly, you are being tested to see if you can stay strong and believe that with God on your side, you can and will  move out of this valley of darkness and into the  light and glory of God. 
  
Pay attention to youor thoughts  graphicOne of your greatest challenges in life is to pay attention to where you place your thoughts.  Do you feed your mind with negative ideas, worries, fears and hopelessness or do you vigorously discipline yourself to keep feeding on what brings you joy, inner peace and a wonderful sense of contentment?
It will serve you greatly if you can make it your mantra: “Don’t let what is on the outside get in on the inside of you.”
