Keep your focus on your joy!

Even when there is turmoil on the outside world, don’t let it get in the inside of you and ruin your true sense of inner peace.  We can’t stop the trouble in the world or all of our problems and hurts but we can, however, refuse to allow them to penetrate into the depths of our mind or inner being.  It is very important to stay conscious of where you are placing your thoughts and stop them from entering on the inside of you. Trouble comes to all of us but during those times, you must be extra diligent and refuse to allow those situations to take over or harm your inner state. When you have a good attitude, you show God and the world that you are trusting in Him and his mercy.

We encounter all sorts of emotions daily; the loneliness and hurts come to all of us but we cannot allow them to take over our focus or energy.  If we do, that is when sickness and disease comes and attacks us.  You see, if we allow our problems to become internalized, they will weaken our immune system which in turn will create numerous cracks and weak spots into our insides and this the time when we become most vulnerable to weaken our cells and organs.

If you are at all like me, you want to work at maintaining a healthy mind, body and spirit.  I have discovered that if I can keep my focus on something that is joyful, I can shift my thoughts and release the anger, resentment and worry.  My end result is to enjoy astate of  peace. Negative emotions only produce negative reactions.  Once you understand that concept, it becomes easier to let go and move on.  You may still need to deal with the situation, but it no longer has a strong hold over your mind or body.

So please be careful of what enters into your inner self!  Of course disappointments come to all of us, but in the eye of the storm, you must make sure your insides stay peaceful, in harmony and balance and stay focused on your real sense of calm.  We all can find something to be joyful about if we try!
